The adoption process in the Philippines appears to be organized and fairly predictable. The children are cared for in government run facilities and private homes. The cost of an adoption from the Philippines is considered low.

Parent Requirements:
Married for a minimum of 3 years
Prospective parents must be at least 16 year older than the child
There is not an upper age limit

Children Available
Both boys and girls of all ages are available for adoption from the Philippines.
There are many boys, older children, and children with special needs available.

Time Frame:
There is an estimated one year waiting period after all documentation has been submitted to the Adoption Authority. This wait may be longer for a healthy infant.
