Parent Requirements:
Married couples (preference for 5 years of marriage or more)
Parents should be 20 years older than the child they will adopt
Parents should be no older than 45 to adopt a healthy infant
There is no upper age limit, although parents should be no more than 45 years older than their child.
Children Available:
Infants through school aged children are available. There are both boys and girls that are healthy and with special needs. Adopting a boy, an older child, or a child with special needs is a quicker process as there are more of these children.
Timeline: In general, the adoption process will take 10-12 months after paperwork is submitted.
Travel: There is one 3-4 day trip required by one parent.
Taiwan is known for orphanages that provide the children with a high level of care.
