Hello
Just wanted to comment on the idea of the power of blessing. A spoken thing can carry such power, I am begining a process to look at the power of the spoken word in the form of blessings. Your words really speak, and hit it as far as where I would like to go with the research. As far as discouragement goes this can be spoken to women having babies to. When I was pregnant there two negative people at my workplace that seemed out to speak curses on me as I went through my pregnancy. Thank God I felt as good as I did, and was delighted to be expecting my first born son. (My oldest son is adopted.) I had to keep it all in perspective. These people were speaking out of their own pain. I can imagine the power of the reverse thing, a spoken blessing.
